Compendium of Creations
I. Conception & Creative Direction
Concept Development
We explore narrative, aesthetic, and emotional vocabulary. Together with our clients, we determine whether their world speaks in gold or graphite, silk or stone. Through private consultation — virtual or in person — we learn the cadence of their event and translate it into visual form.
Palette & Typographic Curation
We compose color harmonies and typographic pairings with the same care a composer gives to orchestration. Each tone and typeface carries resonance; each pairing has intent.
Material Consultation
At this early stage we introduce papers, metals, textiles, and minerals, allowing clients to feel the tactile range of possibility. We source globally, choosing only archival, ethically produced materials.
Moodboards & Visual Storytelling
We assemble inspiration boards and sketches that trace the poetic through-line of the project. Each board functions as both design proposal and emotional cartography.
Collaborations & Art Direction
We coordinate with florists, planners, photographers, and chefs to ensure every texture and tone aligns. Our art direction extends to event styling, ensuring the printed word and the lived environment speak the same visual language.
Timeline
Initial consultations typically take place 10–12 weeks before production begins. Conceptual approval initiates the design phase, allowing us to secure specialty materials early for consistency and provenance.
II. Custom Illustration & Design
Illustration & Hand Rendering
We specialize in hand-drawn monograms, heraldic crests, architectural studies, and watercolor vignettes. Botanical and celestial imagery can be rendered in graphite, ink, or pigment washes. Every illustration is scanned at archival resolution for faithful reproduction across media.
Cartography & Decorative Design
Destination events may include illustrated maps, directional icons, or maritime charts. Decorative patterns, borders, and filigrees are created to echo period styles or original motifs.
Typography & Calligraphy
We design custom letterforms and pairing hierarchies that balance legibility and grace. Our in-house calligraphy draws on classical and contemporary scripts — each line executed by hand, then digitized for flawless reproduction.
Layout & Composition
Every composition is structured according to visual rhythm: margins breathe, type aligns to hidden grids, and embellishments accentuate balance. Design proofs show multiple layouts before final approval
Deliverables & Revisions
Clients receive digital mockups of all components. Two rounds of revisions are customary; additional refinements are available as bespoke services. Once the design is approved, we advance to production.
III. Paper & Printing
Suite Components
We design complete wedding and event suites including:
Save the Dates
Invitations and Enclosure Cards
RSVP sets with envelopes
Accommodations and Details cards
Rehearsal, Welcome, and Brunch invitations
Itinerary inserts and weekend programs
Custom envelope liners (marbled, illustrated, metallic, or vellum)
Wraps, belly bands, folios, gatefolds, and booklets
Printing Methods
We print using techniques spanning five centuries of craftsmanship:
Letterpress: tactile, sculptural impressions on soft cotton stocks, available in one to four color passes or blind deboss.
Engraving: copperplate etching that raises ink in relief, producing the signature sheen of true engraving.
Foil Stamping: metallic or matte foil applied by heat and pressure in gold, silver, copper, rose, or custom hues.
Embossing & Debossing: sculptural relief without ink, for monograms, crests, or textures.
Thermography: raised ink simulation for contemporary applications.
Digital Fine Art Printing: archival pigment printing with unparalleled tonal depth.
White & Metallic Ink: ideal for dark stocks.
Combination Printing: layered techniques — e.g., engraving over foil, blind emboss beneath letterpress — for dimensional results.
Papers & Substrates
Our papers are curated for touch and tone:
Handmade cotton rag and mould-made archival papers
Smooth, eggshell, and laid textures in 120–600 gsm weights
Vellum overlays, pearlescent stocks, and metallic sheens
Duplexed or triplexed mounts for depth
Fabric-backed papers, acrylic panels, or thin-wood veneers for mixed-media suites
Inks & Color Matching
We mix custom colors by hand, using Pantone or pigment recipes. Gradient and split-fountain inking is available for letterpress; opaque whites and metallics for dark grounds.
Finishes & Edges
We refine edges and surfaces by:
Hand-tearing deckled borders
Bevel cutting and polishing
Edge painting or gilding in gold, silver, copper, or variegated leaf
Hand-applied mineral dusts or mica for luminosity
Die-cut shapes, perforations, and rounded corners
Typography & Calligraphy Integration
Our typographic design merges digital precision with the warmth of handwriting. We create letterpress plates or engraving dies directly from calligraphed originals for authenticity.
Proofing & Quality Control
Clients receive digital and, upon request, physical proofs. Press checks can be attended virtually or in person. All materials undergo inspection for consistency of impression, ink density, and alignment before final approval.
Envelopes & Addressing
Envelope suites may include:
Euro-flap or square-flap designs in matching or contrast tones
Inner/outer envelope sets
Return addressing by foil, letterpress, or digital print
Guest addressing by hand calligraphy or printed variable data
Liner installation and protective interleaves
Assembly & Adornments
Each suite is assembled by hand:
Wax seals (custom dies, pre-applied or loose)
Silk, chiffon, or velvet ribbons
Linen cords, eyelets, and grommet binding
Tissue or glassine wrapping
Postage & Mailing
We curate postage suites using modern or vintage stamps, calculate weights, and coordinate USPS hand-cancellation where available. Our concierge mailing service allows us to assemble, address, stamp, and post invitations directly.
Sustainability Options
For clients desiring ecological mindfulness, we offer recycled and FSC-certified papers, soy-based inks, and plastic-free packaging.
Reprints & Editions
We maintain digital archives for future reprints or commemorative editions. Limited-numbered printings are available for collectors or press inclusion.
Timeline & Pricing
Printing lead times range from six to twelve weeks depending on method and complexity. Design fees are included in bespoke suite pricing; specialty printing incurs separate production costs quoted individually.
IV. Finishing & Assembly
Edge & Surface Treatments
We hand-apply paint or metallic leaf to edges, polish bevels, and burnish embossments to accentuate depth
Binding & Layering
Ribbons, grommets, or screw posts may join multi-layered pieces. Folios and booklets are bound in linen or silk threads.
Sealing & Wrapping
Wax seals are poured by hand, stamped with brass dies, and fastened with silk ties. We wrap each suite in archival tissue, glassine, or custom-printed wraps for protection.
Packaging
Final suites are delivered in rigid keepsake boxes lined with linen or velvet. Each box is signed, dated, and includes an authenticity card and care instructions.
Timeline & Pricing
Assembly and finishing typically require 2–3 weeks after printing completion. Pricing varies with embellishment and packaging choices.
V. Day-Of & Event Stationery
Ceremony & Reception Pieces
Programs, order-of-service booklets, and readings
Menus (flat, folded, layered, or hand-embellished)
Place cards, escort cards, and seating charts (paper, acrylic, or textile)
Table numbers and signage
Favors & Correspondence
Welcome itineraries, gift tags, and inserts
Favor packaging and ribbons
Vow books and guest books
Thank-you cards printed post-event
Coordination & Delivery
We liaise directly with planners or venues for accurate counts and delivery schedules. Production lead times range from four to six weeks before the event.
VI. Metals & Engraving
Engraving & Etching
We offer both hand and precision-machine engraving on sterling silver, brass, copper, pewter, and silver plate. Each inscription is cut with a burin, then hand-inked or polished to reveal gleam and depth. For glass, crystal, and mirror, we employ deep etching that maintains transparency while catching the light’s edge.
Design Integration
Our crests, monograms, and motifs can be adapted from your printed suite to achieve perfect continuity across materials. Textures may be layered through embossing, inlay, or foil fusion for dimension.
Tableware & Functional Objects
We engrave and design:
Charger plates and serving trays
Goblets, chalices, and carafes
Flatware and cutlery
Commemorative medallions, coasters, and wine tags
Cake servers, salt cellars, and decorative spoons
Each piece may be commissioned as part of a larger collection or as a stand-alone heirloom.
Pigment & Enamel Inlay
Colored enamel or metallic pigment can be applied within engraved recesses for contrast. Patinated finishes — matte, brushed, or mirror-polished — are available to match event tone.
Timeline & Pricing
Engraving and fabrication require six to ten weeks, contingent on complexity and metal sourcing. Quotes include design die creation and one proof engraving.
VII. Minerals & Natural Materials
Mineral Substrates
Marble, onyx, quartz, and lapis lazuli serve as bases for engraved plaques, signage, and tabletop pieces. Their veining ensures no two are alike.
Inlay & Embellishment
We incorporate pyrite, mica, or semi-precious fragments into paper or metal surfaces. Gilding may blend with mineral dust for subtle shimmer.
Pigments & Finishes
We grind natural pigments — ochres, azurites, and malachites — to create paint used in illustration, edge finishing, or calligraphic accent.
Keepsakes & Objects
Small engraved stones, crystal tokens, or mineral-backed invitation mounts can be commissioned as guest gifts or memorial keepsakes.
Timeline & Pricing
Mineral sourcing and cutting require four to eight weeks. Pricing reflects rarity and weight.
VIII. Embroidery & Textile Arts
Embroidery Services
We embroider on silk, linen, cotton, or velvet using both hand and precision techniques. Monograms, crests, quotations, or borders can be translated from your suite’s design.
Event Textiles
We create embroidered menus, napkins, handkerchiefs, ribbons, and cloth signage. Banners and vow cloths become heirlooms, often framed or preserved in keepsake boxes.
Integration with Paper
Embroidery may adorn invitation wraps, belly bands, or textile-backed panels. Stitch color is matched precisely to ink or foil tones for visual harmony.
Timeline & Pricing
Embroidery production ranges from six to twelve weeks depending on scale and complexity. Each commission includes a stitch sample and thread selection proof.
IX. Culinary & Edible Design
Edible Inscriptions
Menus, place cards, or decorative pieces can be printed on edible wafer, fondant, or sugar glass using food-safe inks. We also offer hand-calligraphed chocolate plaques, meringue scrolls, and sugar ornaments.
Engraved Dining Elements
Metal menu plates, etched serving pieces, or engraved presentation trays provide tactile permanence alongside edible art.
Packaging & Presentation
We design custom confectionery boxes, foil wraps, and wax-sealed ribbons for favors. Labels for wine, honey, or preserves are printed or engraved to echo the event suite.
Collaborative Design
Our culinary design services integrate early in planning with the catering team to ensure both flavor and form align.
Timeline & Pricing
Lead times vary from three to eight weeks, depending on food-safe printing and seasonal sourcing.
X. Branding & Corporate Design
Our atelier extends its visual discipline beyond celebration to identity itself. We craft brand marks, stationery, and corporate gifting suites that bear the same hallmarks of elegance as our private commissions.

Timeline & Pricing
Corporate projects typically range from four to ten weeks depending on collateral volume. Retainer and brand partnership models available for ongoing clients.
XI. Archival & Heirloom Services
